I was recently recognised with the Top Doctors Award 2025 — given each year to the most recommended specialists in the country, as voted for by fellow medical professionals.
The Top Doctors platform connects patients with verified specialists across the UK. The award is peer-nominated. It is not self-entered or based on marketing, paid for, or influenced by commercial arrangements. It is based entirely on recommendations from other doctors — consultants, GPs, and specialists who refer patients and have direct professional experience of working alongside the people they nominate.
That is what makes it meaningful to me. Recognition from colleagues who know the quality of the work — who have referred complex cases, reviewed outcomes, and trusted me with their patients — carries more weight than any self-promotion could.
I am grateful to the colleagues who took the time to recommend me, and to the patients who trusted me with their care. Private surgical practice is built entirely on that trust, and it is not something I take for granted.
